Virtual try-on proof of concept mobile application development for a marketing company

Our customer came to us with an idea of building an AR-based app for his cosmetics stores. When using the application, the client should be able to receive maximum information about a product without asking for the help of a shop assistant.

The user flow is designed smoothly and intuitive, the user can get all the information about a beauty product and try it on in AR mode within a few steps.

We chose a mirror as the main association for the icon. We have designed a minimalistic linear logo, which reflecting the essence of the application. The dark theme with contrast purple emphasizes the luxury mood we want to convey through the UI design.

It is very important not to forget about people, who use the app for the first time. That's why we keep a lot of attention on the onboarding flow. Small tips help first-time users to navigate through the app easier in the context of its features.

Nobody likes inconvenient search & category pages. AR makes it easy: users can scan the barcode of the product and get all they need — photos, videos, etc. This app supports shop assistants in building more efficient relationships with the customers.

Face recognition and AR tools allow trying a range of products without applying them on face. It makes beauty shopping more advanced for visitors and more cost-effective for our clients.

The voice assistant helps users to search for products and check their availability. Apart from that, this assistant provides full information about the product on a display.
